COVID -19 and your children's needs!
This is the time to address your pediatric Occupational Therapy concerns with Maria at Foley Therapy LLC. Now that you are home and spending more time with your child/children you may noticeespecially with their online classes; you are more observant about their struggles at school and home.
This time you will be more aware of their social skills interacting with siblings
- Handwriting - pencil grip and grasp
- Leaning over their paper- Low muscle tone
- Unable to attend to their schoolwork -decreased attention and concentration( attention deficit hyperactivity disorder )
- Wriggling and constantly up and down from their chair- decreased proprioceptive input -which may be as a resutl of sensory processing and autism symptoms
